GL Class of 2011
Fun fact- Loves old fashioned black and white film photography and developing my own film in my own darkroom.
I chose to do a second year with GL because of the fruit I have seen produced in my own life. My first year with GL was one of the best years of my life, God took my heart full of insecurities, doubt, confusion, and lies, a heart hidden by guilt and he exchanged it for his confidence and peace, he has filled me with new hope for my future and a new value in who he has created me to be. Growing up in a Christian home, God was my religion; to me he came with a book of rules and I could never earn his approval nor his love. GL created a safe place for me to come to know God as my father, my hope, my healer, my friend, not as just my religion or my judge. I fell in love with the vision of Generational Leadership, a vision that causes young people to become honest with their hearts. God is moving in our generation and I am here to be apart of his vision and to push those around me to the greatness I know is possible in their lives.
