While we were in Minnesota, my dad was really touched by God. God showed him a Father’s heart and the importance of it. It was really exciting to see the spirit of Elijah at work, watching my dad’s heart be turned towards his kids. My heart has also been turned towards my parents and I am excited to see what God has planned for our family. It is so encouraging and exciting to see the Generational Vision work and how it effects how people think and live.

Danielle

Road trip was amazing! I got to stay with a wonderful family, a mom and her two daughters. It was divine. I had the opportunity to minister to each of them and be ministered to by each of them. Our hearts were united and I was extremely blessed. God really moved and we built precious memories. I was able to become a part of their family and show the fruit that has been produced in my life through GL. They loved seeing the servant’s heart. Through the love of God, they were able to see something they wanted to be a part of. One of the daughters is wanting to come to GL next year, and even sent in her application!

On the Generational Leadership road trip this year I got to experience what life is like as a disciple of Christ……exciting! I wasn’t too sure what to expect as we went into this season of ministry but God blew my mind in every way possible. We were able to be a channel for Jesus to minister to a hurting and broken generation. It is amazing how when I stop thinking about myself and open my eyes to the world around me, life finally makes sense and I truly feel the urgency and compassion that God has to get his kids back to him. I realize that my life could be a life that helps Him to do that, an adventure and vibrant life in the Kingdom of God! We saw so many broken hearts healed and families restored on this trip. I saw Malachi 4:6 in action. Fathers and mothers hearts were being turned back to children and the children’s hearts were being turned back to fathers and mothers. We had lots of opportunity to serve the community and the church in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The Kingdom of God has never been so real to me! God did some amazing things in three weeks!

Liz

God did so many incredible things in Minnesota. He did such great things that I can’t tell them all! The Lord used us GL’s as His tool! We had a few BBQ’s at my house where my friends and family came and we (GL) were just able to pour out the love of Christ and how God has completely transformed us this year. The first night we were able to pray for my brother’s best friendfor healing in his wrist, after he said that he truly had been touched by the Lord, and his wrist was stronger! The second BBQ we had, three of my friends from high school gave their hearts to the Lord after we had shared a few testimonies of our lives. My friend Nick got filled with the Holy Spirit! All in one night! My friends were so searching and so hungry for something greater then themselves. God totally rocked their world and their eyes became opened to His love.

Kristie

Road trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin was an incredible experience. God did fabulous things and showed himself in a powerful way. I look back at all that happened and I am just in awe of what an amazing God we serve. God opened so many doors for us to talk, pray and serve others. The entire trip was a highlight for me and it was incredible to watch first hand all that the Lord did. One of my favorite things about road trip was being able to talk and have great conversations with the people we were blessed to be able to spend time with. There were so many divine conversations that the Lord orchestrated for us. I love getting to see the power of Jesus work in lives because I have experienced it in my own life and know how amazing God is. It is wonderful to be able to carry the love of Christ everywhere we go and allow the Lord to bless others. Road trip was a stretching experience and a time of a lot of growth. Jesus did so many miracles, both physically and emotionally in hearts and lives. I loved getting to watch all that He did and spend time with great people. God is so good!

Kandice

Road Trip was such a blast! I was able to take what was poured into me in GL and go out and pour into others! I was able to watch the Lords grace move through each one of us. It’s not by might or strength, but by His spirit! I loved watching the Lord move in and out of the church. One event that I experienced that had a huge impact was the Bound for life rally to end abortion. We were able to stand in the gap for those who can’t be heard. That was incredible. Road trip will be unforgettable. What we started in the spirit, we will finish in the spirit.

Britani

I had so much fun in Wisconsin and Minnesota on road trip. I was able to meet so many wonderful people and will definitely stay in touch with many of them! We were able to witness to many people and be a part of some giving their hearts to the Lord. We spent all year getting filled up by Jesus and road trip was an opportunity for us to pour out the love and wisdom imparted to us. We served with all our hearts and ministered too many; it was so rewarding. I was able to testify about what the Lord has done in my life and how he has completely turned my life around! It feels so good to know that God is using me and my story to give people hope and build faith. Road trip was a great experience that I will remember for the rest of my life!

Steven

Gosh, road trip was so great! You could see the love of God all over the palce. My favorite part was spending time with people. We were given so many chances to be with other young adults, sharing testimonies and loving them. We built a lot of relationships, ones that are definitely going to last. It was so easy to get to know people, because we shared a love for God, and that was super encouraging to see!

Jessica

Road trip was such an amazing experience for me. I felt like I really stepped out of my comfort zone in so many areas that allowed me to open up more than I ever have before. Usually, I am more of a reserved person and not really an initiator, but this trip allowed me to break out of that shell and see just how amazing people really are. By breaking out of my shell, I was able to share openly what God has done in my life and how the smae redeeming power that saved me could save them as well. I was able to step out in confidence and boldly speak the truth of God and because of that I was able to see first hand lives being changed.

Jaqui

I love it when God taps into the little parts of your heart; He did it many times to my heart during road trip. While we were in Wisconsin I met a family I absolutely fell in love with. They were so full of love and excitement and joy that you couldn’t help but be a part of it. God placed me there for a reason. I impacted them, but they impacted me even more!

The mom opened my heart and that helped mend it, and they little brother opened my eyes even more to love my siblings. The family as a whole showed me their love for the Lord and for each other. My heart has opened up to a bigger need for loving family. We had unforgettable talks and late nights full of excitement with cinnamon!

I couldn’t have planned things to go better. Unforgettable memories and life long relationships were formed. God is so faithful and good to His children. The Rouse family: I love you!! A LOT!!!

Becky

Road Trip is an amazing time of seeing the glory of God at work. We ministered in services almost every night! I got to pray for healing for a lady who was struggling with an uncommon disease. She was really discouraged about her life, but the Holy Spirit ministered through me and her face was physically brighter when we finished! The whole group carried so much joy and had a huge impact.

Jenna

I love Road Trip. God is so amazing. I love being able to change then atmosphere wherever we go. We had the chance to volunteer at Crossfire, an outreach for teenagers as an alternative to partying. I got to talk with a girl who was super broken. I noticed she had cuts all over herself. I told her how I used to cut myself too and how Jesus had changed my life.

Throughout the night we hung out and talked more and she opened her heart to me. By the end of the night, I was able to share about the love of Jesus with her and how much He cares about her. She broke down and cried and was really touched by the Lord. It’s so cool to see Jesus use what I have been through to touch others.

Johnny

The whole year I have been skeptical about asking God for healing. I never doubted that He could, I just didn’t know if I should ask for it. So when we went on Road Trip to Minnesota, Pastor Tom told me I cannot be apathetic like I tend to be and need to be more involved. Throughout the trip I tried to be excited about everything that God was doing. The coolest part was that the more I tried to be excited, the more I really was excited!
One night, when my mom was there, I asked Kelsey to come with me and pray for her back. Her back had been hurting and she was healed that night! For the first time in 26 days her back didn’t hurt! JESUS RULES!!!

Stephanie

My most memorable experience of Road Trip in Minnesota was being able to attend the Bound4Life with my parents. We were able to stand in the gap for unborn children and show what God created to be a family and pray for those who didn’t have a voice. It was great to see my newly saved parents and me (someone who used to volunteer at abortion clinics and was pro-choice) standing for righteousness and truth! It was life changing. Something happened in the spiritual realm as we stood together in silence, yet speaking boldly for truth.

Victoria

On road trip, Jaqui, Kelsey and I got to stay with the Rouse’s in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The whole fact that we got to stay with them was divine. Our presence answered the youngest boy, Ryan’s, dreams of having older sister. He now has 3. My prayers of having a younger brother were also answered. Kyle, the middle child, said it was refreshing to be around people his age who were on fire for Jesus, and to see the life in our eyes. Because we stayed there their foster child, Erick, was exposed to the love of God and his heart has been opened to the ongoing transformation of Jesus. Also, because we stayed with them, two of the boys in the family have decided to attend GL next year.
