Today many young adults spend their lives living for the moment, instead of taking steps to prepare for roles of familial, social and professional leadership. Generational Leadership believes there are numerous possibilities for the young adults of this generation, creating a more fulfilling outcome! Generational Leadership is an 11-month Christian program to help young adults between the ages of 18-25 become strong in character and trained as effective leaders.
In addition to classes held on our campus, the students receive “hands-on” training two to three afternoons a week. Over the past 10 years, we have worked with local organizations such as the Maple Valley Community Center, The Kent Pregnancy Aide Center, Vine Maple Place, and Lake Retreat Center. We have also served at Maple Valley Days, Make A Difference Day, in homes of the elderly and in our local schools.
Tahoma High School principal, Terry Duty, has told us, “Your presence on our campus has been a wonderful experience…what a shining example you have set for all of us. Thank you for helping to make our high school a great place to be!”
